About Myself
I am an open-minded and kind-hearted individual who has always been curious about the corners of our world and subconscious that make other people uncomfortable. My connection with Stephen King's 'The Shining' was something that I wouldn't understand until later in life when I realized it wasn't the fiction that I was resonating with, but the power to 'Shine'.
It's a broad topic within the Stephen King universe. Those who shine can practice telekinesis and communicate telepathically. While I'm not sure if those two things are within my wheelhouse, I can be empathetic, observe, and communicate with the world around me through energies. It's so like a Pisces to live in a world of imagination and compare my life to a horror fantasy novel. It's been the best comparison I could come up with though.
The Shining is also described to be within all individuals, but some grow out of it or choose to ignore it. I think that applies to all of us. We are given gifts in this lifetime. We are given abilities to use parts of our subconscious that is undiscovered or unexplainable.
Through my intuition, connections with nature, and knowledge about the cycles of life, I have been able to trust that the universe is guiding us forward through our lives. I have been blessed with the gift of connecting with the world beyond, and love having the opportunity to connect others with their own universal current or inner self. My focus is to bring forth awareness and healing through love, and to teach others to open up their own potential.
My 'day job' is Marketing and Graphic Design. I am currently working at a facility that promotes art and tourism in Appalachia, but I hope to do freelance with this and design full time in the future.
I'm passionate about social justice and human rights. I absolutely love the art of Drag. I enjoy horror movies (obviously) like The Shining and It. Even the corny horror and crime series like Teen Wolf and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I love all things supernatural and am also interested in cryptids and the paranormal. I truly believe there is so much in the world to discover!
